Upon relocating to the vibrant city of Austin, Texas, my family and I embarked on a quest to find the ideal spiritual home. We understood the importance of finding a church that not only aligned with our beliefs but also provided a welcoming and nurturing community. Our journey led us to visit approximately ten different churches, each offering its own unique atmosphere and teachings. While these initial visits were informative and introduced us to various facets of Austin's diverse religious landscape, none of them truly resonated with us. We found ourselves searching for that intangible connection, a place where we could wholeheartedly invest our faith and feel a genuine sense of belonging. It was during this exploration that we stumbled upon Celebration Church—a discovery that would alter the course of our spiritual journey in Austin. From the very moment we stepped through its doors, there was an unmistakable feeling of warmth and inclusivity. The congregation's genuine hospitality and the palpable sense of community made us feel like we had found a family away from home. Celebration Church didn't just offer religious services; it provided a comprehensive and enriching spiritual experience. The sermons were thought-provoking and relevant, providing guidance and inspiration for our daily lives. The church's commitment to outreach and community involvement resonated with our values, allowing us to actively contribute to causes we held dear. One of the most compelling aspects of Celebration Church was its dedication to fostering personal growth and relationships. Through small groups and various ministries, we had the opportunity to connect with fellow members on a deeper level, forming lasting friendships that extended beyond the sanctuary. In retrospect, our search for the perfect church concluded the moment we set foot in Celebration Church. It was a place where our faith found roots, our spirits were uplifted, and our family felt at home. The welcoming congregation, inspiring sermons, and strong sense of community combined to create an environment that nurtured our faith and enriched our lives. Thus, without hesitation, we can confidently award Celebration Church a resounding 5/5. It's not just a place of worship; it's a spiritual haven that has become an integral part of our lives in Austin, Texas. In our faith journey, we have discovered not only a church but a true home.

If your looking for a church where the Pastor sits down to give the message of God this is the place for you. If you like the congregation that wears hoodies over their head, caps and cowboy hats during service this is the place for you. If you think it's respectful for women to wear half shirts with their bellybutton ring showing, this is the place for you. If you like good coffee this is the place for you. If your a little more traditional and conservative this is not the place for you. Hope the best for this place though. Just giving those who are looking for a new church a snapshot before spending their Sunday morning here. Don't want you to be surprised like we were.

I have been attending Celebration Church for 3 years and love it! There truly is something for everyone. Don't let the size scare you. Because of the size, there are so many opportunities for small group gatherings. I am single and over 50. Most churches don't have much support for people over 30. Well, I've been able to get connected and never have to do life alone again. Joe and Lori Champion are great leaders and you can tell that they care about their members. Come check us out!

I love my church, I love the people and I love the word! This church doesn’t play around, this isn’t a “feel good” church, no they teach the Bible! I feel like I’m apart of a family and meeting so many god fearing friends! ❤️❤️

We moved to Lockhart Texas 2 years ago but continued to attend Celebration. Today we drove just to be told we couldn’t be part of service. We felt excluded, and were treated unfairly by the person we spoke to. We have a 12 year old with special needs, unfortunately we were told he couldn’t stay with the rest of the kids because he was too old and that there wasn’t enough personnel. The other option we were given was to go to the family room but that only 1 parent could be there. When the lady took us to see the room there were MANY couples in that room but still, only one of us could be there. The couples in that room did not had the same skin color as me and my wife. We love Pastor Joe. Unfortunately, not sure we are returning.

Amazing pastor and welcoming congregation. The focus is on the individual and getting connected with the local community groups to get plugged in. Pastor Joe knows that as the church grows it's important for people to not get lost in the crowd.

Moved back to this area in June and did a google search nearby for churches. Was just going to scout at least 3, however after going here one time, I felt so at home and around friendly people. I feel welcome every time I come and the pastor is just awesome. I really enjoy my Sunday’s now as I wasn’t raised in Christians household. I look forward to going every Sunday and can’t wait to go. Since I travel out of town I have utilized their online streaming so I can still attend church and get the message for the day. I recently went through the training program to volunteer and feel right at home being around others that enjoy Jesus and God. During the service it’s funny, and an enjoyable time. I’m really glad I found this church as it turns out my girlfriend goes here too, so we get to go to church together :) I highly recommend this church to anyone, it’s worth driving to come here.

New Years Day service (1-1-24) was wonderful and it was nice to see Pastor Joe. But this will be the last time I ever step foot at Celebration Church. I have learned that churches, as religious organizations, are exempt from observing the ADA LAW for individuals with disabilities. I have a small service dog you see and here's where we have a problem. This is what happened : I was approached by a male team member asking me if this was indeed a service dog. I say "yes." He further asks "what is he for??" I answered that as well. He then said my picture needs to be taken and saved in his smartphone for staff information purposes. He proceeds to tell me that I will need to check in every single time I visit to register that I have a service animal and receive a certain wristband, that every visit will be a different color wristband. That way I'd be marked as having a service dog. He asks what my SD's name is and then touches my animal without my consent! Outrageous 😤 I am not interested in jumping through these hoops just to be apart of services here. To the public, knowledge is power. Be aware that you will need to do all these things in order to be compliant with their strict protocol and welcome on campus. I wrote this in order for the next person who suffers from a disability that is unseen to be equipped with this information as to not be caught off guard. Then they can make up their own minds as to what they think is reasonable for themselves.
